Elementary I & II Levels

We open TWO whole new styles of dance to our Elementary 1 level. JAZZ and HIP HOP! This allows your child to view a more dynamic way of movement and a whole new vocabulary of dance terms. Through this class your child will continue to grow in Ballet and Tap while learning a brand new style.

In our Elementary II program, students will start to understand and be more confident in all the styles that they have learned, continuing to grow through in this art.  They will start to develop stronger technique and understand the body placement. They have the option to come to twice a week practices.  This will help to develop and understand all of the intricate details of dance at a quicker pace.

Your child will be able to showcase what they have learned throughout the year at our end of the year recital. For more information please look under “Shows” category.

Classes:

• Monday 4:30-6:30 pm (Elementary I Combo class)
• Tuesday 4:30-6:30 pm (Elementary II Combo class)
• Wednesday 4:40-5:30 pm ( Elementary  II Ballet only)
• Wednesday 5:30-7:30 pm (Elementary I & II Combo class)

 

Class Attire:

(This mandatory uniform must be purchased through the Academy)

• Light Blue Leotard
• Light Blue Skirt
• Pink footed tights
• Pink ballet shoes
• Black Tap shoes and Black Slip on Jazz shoes

Hair must be in a ponytail.
