Here at MDA we feel like competing at dance competitions brings many rewards to your daughters passion for dance. It is a huge learning experience through dance skills and life skills. To compete with other girls by age and category helps our dancers see and interact with other girls who have the same passion for dancing and preforming. We feel like it is a good experience for anyone who is wanting to compete so that they can learn and have pride in their hardwork. Seeing other dancers helps to motivate and inspire eachother to work hard and push themselves to the best that they can be. It helps in social situations to interact and meet new dancers backstage and in passing. Teamwork is something we strongly want our girls to learn, but being social and respectful to other teams who we are competing against is the most important. Dancers learn more through watching other dancers and we feel as though the competitions we pick focus strongly on our beliefs.
